A Poem by Erin Peterson
"

This is the first poem that I ever wrote. It is about my insecurity of writing and sharing my creations with the world.

"

I have a lot of things that I want to say,

but I only end with a mix of words.

Words that never seem right
and that would probably never be heard.

My writings don’t have a chance,

trust me everyone tells me that.

To me the words have meaning,

but to readers they sound flat.

Why share what I feel,
if no one could comprehend.

You might hear these words,

but will you really understand?

What i’m trying to say is,
this poem will never end.
The reason this won’t end is because...

I don’t know where to begin!

Honestly, I think this is the perfect place to begin. You're throwing your insecurities up in front of people, and if memory serves, that's where I began. That's probably where everyone begins.
My advice is to keep churning, and let us see what you've got.
