Spitting Words

By Erin L George

I write you a poem I’ll spit through the floor

Animalistic and carnal

Like nothing before

The words that I’ll toss will slime up the seats

And leave your mouths hanging

In awe and intrigue

I’ll sing to you with a muse on my back

Vixenish whispers

Before the attack

With ravishing candor I’ll steal your beliefs

And run into night with other word thieves

My treacherous tongue will leave yours dry

Spun on beguiling kisses and toxic lie

Where happy endings are nothing more

Than Prince Charming screwing a w***e.

I love the creative side to this poem. I love how you can post a set of words and so many different poems form from them. The flow is easy to follow and the last two lines are definitely attention getting. The last one is almost humorous for many times it is true.
