My heart says there's something more

My husband says I keep a messy home

My son says my singing's a bore

My mom says I'm destined to roam

My doctor says there's nothing he can do

My brother says I stole his glee

My priest says not to be blue

My teacher says it's history

My mentor says I've come so far

My friend says to let it go

My God says I'm up to par

My cat says to name him Joe

My conscience says I'm in the right

My father says I made my bed

My first love says I was a sight

My agent says it's in my head

My publisher says try again

My dog says he has fleas

My lover says amen

My son's coach says it's a breeze

My mind says it's time to rest

My grocer says milk ain't cheap

My stomach says I've been blessed

My pharmisist says I'm in deep

My fear says to run and hide

My pride says to stand up straight

My govenor says, well, lies

My banker says the bills are late

My dentist says to floss each day

My mirror says I'm getting old

My sister says she's going gay

My ex says he's got a new woman to hold

My sponsor says one day at a time

My gynocologist says it's not too late

My muse says screw the rhyme

My heart says I'm scared of fate.
