Sapphire DreamsA Poem by Erin LeeSapphire Dreams If only I could dream in color I'd surly see: The ruby blush of virgin cheeks dance with the boy from geometry. Her emerald cat's eye wink as she waves back at me. Dandelion yellow cheerfully flirting in the meadows. A blue jay spins to join the show bowing with extended wing. If only I could dream in color, I'd dream in rainbows: Sapphire dreams. © 2010 Erin Lee |
