Stranded

Stranded

A Poem by Erin Lee
"

How it feels when he's "just not that into you." (Thank goodness I'm not there anymore).

"

Stranded

Stationed at the telephone, waiting for a tap.

Tell me that you love me, I've waited long enough.

(Remember, I told you first this on Daddy's lap).

Am waiting for a sign, waiting getting tough.

Nothing beats your raspy laugh, whispers ever rough.

Do something! Fast! Tell me how you care:

Even scarlett vixens sometimes need a dare.

Do I hear a tapping sound? No. It's just not fair.
