Just having a little fun. And feeling pretty darn relieved about it! Sometimes, you just have to 'let go' and leave things to fate (and the sky).

hands up!

i throw them to the sky

cobwebs from the clouds

twist around my fingers

and i suck at them

like cotton candy.

 

hands up!

i toss it to the light

my lips curl

around my pearly teeth

and i can't help but smile

like a Chesire cat.

 

hands up!

your problem, is not mine!

i settle in

letting the aphgan wrap me

my toe sticking out

painted glitter pink

like a Valentine.

 

hands up!

up to you

i leave this love

blind behind my sunglasses

staring straight into the light

i close my eyes.

 

(happy sigh).
