Stone Man

Stone Man

A Poem by Erin Lee
"

We're talking Granite here, people! Lol.

"

Stone Man

by Erin L George

He is granite -

but his tears still flow -

strong, foamy gorge.

He mates with the Autumn's

auburn leaves.

You can see it -

if you look deep within his eyes.

(If he lets you that close).

God used a chisel

and an oil paintbrush,

taking turns,

in an artist's smock

when he made this man

(this work of art)

when he made the man

of stone.

Oh! I liked this one a lot! It's short but it's down to the point and it's very descriptive. I can almost see all the magick of God creating the stone man. it's really good.
