I, II

I, II

A Poem by InsidiousRain

I promised I would stay
but what if I can't
what if I leave early
everyone leaves in the end
even the ones who promised they wouldn't
what's one more broken promise
 one less shadow
that withers away.

How often do we word promises the wrong way? It isn't that we mean them any less it's just we seldom control the parameters of life as we live it.

A good taste of inevitable sorrows over unable to be kept ...moments.
