A Poem by InsidiousRain

Optimism is for the ignorant
Truth is for the liars

Cynicism is for the idealists
burnt out by false hope

Depression is for the hopeful
long exhausted by endless dread

Abuse is for the desperate
who cry out for help
but are ruined by their own minds

Despair is for the misguided souls
overturned by their own lives

False hope is for the abandoned
ruined by the rubble that is their lives
destroyed by society
left alone to rebuild

Destiny is for the lost man
who once lost his way.
And can't go home again.

About
Some people are sheep. Some are politicians. Some are wisemen, leaders. A black and white world. Me? I'm that queer kid. Whoever has the faintest idea where I'm going, it sure as hell isn't me. .. more..
