You Rhyme me out of my mind

You Rhyme me out of my mind

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

You Rhyme me out of my mind

your contrary nature

leaves me clueless

and quizzified

your true/false plurality

leaves me breathless

and stupefied

your exceptional beauty

leaves me speechless

and mesmerized

I've said so many words

to you in my head

but none of them

would raise your notice of me

from the dead

state, so I will take the route

most dignified

and talk to you in my sleep

let my feelings run deep

so you can keep

me at heart's length

with my perverse

verse

straining for another glance

another chance

to be emulsified

in your rapture.

Lover's rock seems to be it's loudest when it isn't heard at all.

yes, I agree...thank you, Everett.

Keeping me at heart’s length is sad. Those who make you feel that deeper connection and allure can shake our worlds up and tear down those carefully constructed walls of protection.

This poem is brilliant in conveying the feelings and emotions that another person can have on us. The breathlessness that is pleasing.

Writing a love poem to someone you would love to be with just to get the words out from your heart to stop it bursting with passionate thoughts ... and then just hiding it away .

There is some truth to how much better it works to tell them how you feel in dreams. Excellent writing. ~Jim

Yes Jacob, and beautiful women are still surprised when all we can sum up is a "duh", while we dribble all over ourselves at them.
You've got to feel sorry for the truly beautifully dies though. Every day must be like a remake of idiocracy, having to smile at all the buffoon males of the species.

the title is fab. Beautiful lines these are,
"I've said so many words
to you in my head
but none of them
would raise your notice of me
from the dead"

Another beautiful piece of write, like always. Enjoyed reading it. Thanks Jacob.
