A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

on the night of

departure on arrival
pieces of
a transport to heaven
scattered riverboats
searching for remains
of frozen angels

Nicely written as always on that terrible plane crash and the helicopter. Very sad indeed.

Very succinctly stated Jacob. And now I'm hearing that another plane has crashed, setting fires to homes in philladelphia. May all their souls rest in peace.

' departure on arrival. ' Those three words are difficult to read. So heartbreaking when this happens. Your thoughts caress gently around me.

Yes, Brandy, such a tragedy...Thank you for your understanding words,

The names and faces are almost too hard to grasp. The enormity of all the stories unfolding, of lives so short lived with so much promise. It's enough to break your heart, but they deserve to be remembered, for all the good they hoped to bring into this world! Thank you for honoring them, Jacob. They're angels now, among us.

Catastrophic event that just gives one pause and then drives home the fact that life is short and comes with no assurance of longevity. Well done my talented friend.
