Occupant

Occupant

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Occupant

remnants of you
still reside in me
the rent belligerent
in cost
the heart deep inside
wrapped in grief
huddling in blankets of
remembrance

shivering
unable to afford
even one tear.

dear Jacob... when Memories are huddled under Blankets... there is a Calmness of Holly Berries on a Wreath of Christmas Joy... Wishing you a Blue Christmas with memories bestowed. softly, Pat

Wow. Many years ago I tossed out a lot of things left in my house, YEARS after a break-up ... she still is there sometimes though ... rent paid through conflict. ~Jim

Fave lines
Huddling in blankets of remembrance

Truly beautiful sad write.
I’m sure if everyone had a book of memories yours would be the most descriptive

The below lines could stand alone Jacob.

remembrance"
Our memories. A blessing or a curse? Powerful dance of words and thoughts my friend.
