Belonging

Belonging

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Belonging

a little murmur

heart in transition

few beats short of a cry

i saw you yesterday

in the lake's reflection

the water's swirl

still could not extinguish

the flame

you became.

That little murmur takes us by surprise sometimes when a the past re-surfaces and stays for a while.
Pictures from an old photograph album we had almost forgotten about.

thank you for your words, Stella,

Something about this time of year huh..lol. J. This one hits a pulse of maybe a touch of looking back and looking forward. Looking into something the eyes try never to see...more of a heart thing,..emotional struggles of being a being locked in time and space. I likes..Appreciate!
