with a curve

statements are always

made with a sense of 

the interrogative inferred

is there certainty of anything?

is a period persuasive enough

to believe the clause inside

just because?

can we say that here is a poem with an identity crisis?? most things are both simple and complex, but within this, there is certainty about many things. take this poem for example, a comma, a pause (simple), and a metaphor with many lairs of understanding (complex). But what is certain, is that this is a poem, by any other name, still a poem! And a damn good one at that!!!

Jacob, your pen is filled with poetry, a certainty for sure!!! Can I get a comma, apostrophe! amen!!! ;O)

made me chuckle. the "comma" would make a great name for a dance. you raise a good point - is anything a certainty in this topsy-turvy world anymore? each generation seems to add their own rules. i would add the semicolon.
