Right Shoe escaped Plague ...
being a bit more Brilliant
Beat the Drums slowly...
softly, Pat

very slowly,
thank you, Pat,

Lovely use of metaphor and alliteration in this meaningful Senryu, J... Love the image portrayed but wondering if "a plague of insanity" has anything to do with the results which the political scene in America could unfold shortly. Hoping not, yet I don't feel it refers to psychological instability? Hoping for a healthy outcome to the elections, otherwise it will be like drowning in a sea of insanity, sadly. Great thought provoking Senryu, dear J... Thank you for sharing...

Yes, it is, thank you, Fabian,

The scraped shoes give a real sense of struggle. “Plague of insanity” hits hard, and that walk into never feels so creepy. Love it!

Oh Jacob another one to mess with my mind. I took this several ways. One about how we view and treat mental illness, Two the present election and politics. Other options I'm sure more will occur. A most fabulous senryu that was mind provoking and the first line a vivid image
