A Haiku like resonance. I love the way the single word vulnerable takes us straight to the heart of the poem. Also, almost like an accidental rhyme, weeping and keeping suggests a compulsive, endless, repetitive search. For what exactly, the reader can fill in the blank.
At least her bark has salicin if she cries herself into a headache. Young willows are very flexible too so I'll hope for a speedy recovery and a spring back to life.

Hahaha! Ain't that the way it goes... Of the myriad subjects that are obvious for us all, trees rank high... I have been a wood sculptor and think of maples and cherries and walnuts as jewelry... I love them all.
