Hush

Hush

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Hush

i heard Garbo

utter a

word

but

would not dare repeat

what i

heard

keeping her secret

safely secure

in a

mouthful

of silence.

Thank you, Pat,
j.
"in a mouthful of silence" a great line. I take it was Greta Garbo who began in silent movies hence the line. Also she initially did not speak English only Swedish. She moved on to "talkies" and so was able to utter a word. Very nicely done Jacob
