Wow, love the duality and ambiguity, could be interpreted as a marriage contract or anything else that connects to our lives, again the beauty is in the duality and open interpretation, Thank you for this!
Yes, I am back!!! Been such a very long time... Had several falls and a new knee... So you are actually the very first poem I am reviewing. I find your poem not to be just black and white but rather a metaphor for oh so many things, but what comes to me right now is life and love ..the ins and outs...the ups and downs...the black and whites..
Solid idea with a great metaphor dear Jacob...

So short, yet so vast, so perfect!! I wish I had written it. It encompasses the infinite light spectrum of white, against the absolute zero of reflected color in black or on the other side of the scale dealing with reflected light from pigment the absence of all color in white and the sum total of all color in black. Against the background of nothingness written thought contains all knowledge and wisdom. Such a great metaphor my friend.
Black and white. I saw a quote today about left and right. Two wings of the same bird. For things to work, for harmony, there has to be balance. One can’t weigh more than the other. I love this poem J. I love harmony. This poem sends the reader into deep thinking. Wonderful.

I love this wonderful allegorical Micro-poem, J... In the history of the US, the ink could not be blacker at the moment in contrast with the possibility of infinite harmony being created. Praying for that harmony to be created and for the black ink to become invisible, never to be seen again. A little gem! Thank you for sharing, J...
