Up There

Up There

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Up There

old sneakers in the attic

feet still in them

fossilized forevers

he walked a good life

wrote it all down

spilled it into locked boxes

his business

his life

reading his poems

is for the angels

they keep secrets
