storms of a different natureA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertostorms
of a different nature the
howling wolves match
the cries of the
wayward tornado imparting
cuts and wounds turning
homes to ruin leaving
homeless pedestrians to
fend from falling trees nature
implodes within human
anguish exudes the
wolves advance towards
the carcass of
broken windows severed
siding roofs
unable to stop the rain holes
in the resolve this
happens too many times like
bad love gaps
in the weather gaps
in relationships I hear
the wolves and
cry for
the innocents who
have become prey. erin-cilberto 4/2/24 © 2024 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
