a gentler winter windA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertoa
gentler winter wind We
have similar dreams but
drastically different themes eyelids
flutter with passion that
escapes us when
they are open to
hold the gaze of
amaze- meant If
only we could meet and conjoin in
restful conclusion a
paradise of mind the
tree of wisdom planted
for only us knowledge
abounds in
leaves of serene I
loved you before we passed through the gate now I
want to wake to
find your hand reaching for mine and
the tree matured enough for
our thoughts to rustle to breathe
nightfall in
perfect sync. erin-cilberto 1/11/24 © 2024 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
