What a disconnect here. He who hesitates is lost. Opportunities come and go. Someone needs to show some courage here. That’s where this scenario took me J.
This poem seems to be both tragedy and mystery, sir. Waiting for acknowledgement is a fruitless task at times, guess hope and gentle tenacity might work but when it is meant to. Time allows thought on two sides of the sleepless, restless night or the deep sleep of dreams wanting to paint a masterpiece on your dawn.
Interesting write. I have a Muse that has never read any of the things I have written for her, and that is how it must be (unless she suddenly calls and says she's divorced or otherwise unattached) and for some reason this made me think of writing to her. ~Jim

I wonder how kind a divorced muse would be....
thank you, Jim,

Jacob! Two thoughts on this one... Firstly, well, I'm sure that Nash fella with the beautiful mind would be able to tell us the probability of writing the poem of the year on the first week of January, is just as likely as any other time, and secondly, Woah! I did not see the she being the victim in this, at all!
You could have given me infinite guesses at that and I bet I'd have guessed that purple jelly people make first contact with earth in 2024 before I guessed that!
But come to think on it, I shouldn't be surprised, because it's usually a she that gets us all in the end! 😊 (Sorry ladies) 😊
