Warriors of a Different BreedA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertoWarriors
of a Different Breed we
bare, share smite
with write a
brigade of
words made to
drop bombs with
aplomb poets
show it like
guests unmasked at the
costume ball we
show it all and
hope to attain refrain some
legacy left with
deft pen dripping
ink not
blood in a
flood of
love soldiers
of modesty Rich
in themes not
dreams of
conquest or
travesty but
holding on to
each other's flight
of fancy defined by
that which fills
a page in
kind. erin-cilberto 12/3/23 © 2023 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
