Well, I hope you read it down at Big Sur. City Lights, that little publisher that set the world on fire by publishing "Howl" in the Pocket Poet Series...got mine sitting nearby with Carl Solomon polishing the cover. Feels like a need for a falling back to a time or need, a season, and wanting to just relax. Oh, I know it's Autumn and the world is on fire, but that haunting seed for just no news at all is tangible Seems to be growling at us all, Jack and not Jack at the helm. You pulled at the chord of this suddenness with a "beaten generation" so I'd say drum on Krupa..drum on~

And walk the hills and sip at the cafes but by all means avoid Alcatraz after fifty times..lol. Thank you for the happy memories. We only lost him recently but pass that wine jug and in the Village of New York stay up all night passing the bowl of cherries and if your ad lib poem was deemed worthy by the hooligans you earned the cherry.,Yep! Drum on till that "brief candle" burns out ;)
