Jacob, you go from the past, to the future... they say, time changes and changes everything, but then there is the heart, that knows nothing of time... and there are some people, or person, who capture a heart and never let go.... they build nests in the mind and our thoughts go to them, always- yesterday, today, and tomorrow... perhaps time will change your "inkling" to "always"... your poem, short, sweet, and captures so much and I enjoyed reading it...

I like the "inkling". It's a teasing tinkle of a wind chime poem delicately delivered by the poet's pen. But don't make me say that again. It's early and I'm just now getting my coffee ;) Off to school with the baby. Wonderful work from you as always, Jacob. F.

Old age takes our eye sight, our sleep, our memory, our patience and our wits. We can't let him have the humor too. ;) I took this picture off my TV one Saturday afternoon they were showing film noir. It's a still shot from Mr. Moto's Last Warning, a crime mystery from 1939. Ricardo Cortez played Fabian the Great. But the movie also starred Peter Lorre and John Carradine. It's actually pretty good for an old black and white flick. I love Peter Lorre in anything. I'm always impersonating him. But 1939 was a wee bit before my time. My mother was born in 1938 so not THIS Fabian but I had to steal this book...err...this still screen shot. :)
