Colors of After

Colors of After

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Colors of After

placid pose

a sort of smile

cheeks blushed with thoughts

of a lover

yesterday's encounter

today's reconnoiter

she sips her coffee

turns a little bit more to the right

the artist brushes her onto his canvass

was he the one?

This truly feels like what an artist would hope for in his audience Jacob, a swirling of thoughts and ideas reaching out from the canvas and bringing the story of his images to life.
At least that is what I think, a guy who couldn't paint a door without a YouTube instruction video. 😊

A nice scene create by the wonderful poetry. The mind of a model. Is ever-moving. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

this is absolutely striking! This has so much emotion and is full of soul. I love this piece, very very impressive! makes one flutter through their history in comparison, love when poetry does that to me. Wow!

appreciate you Patricia,
hope you are well,

As always your words are poetic and this time so gentle. I too wonder "was he the one?"
