Traveling Man

Traveling Man

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Traveling Man

your vivid skin

and composure

slap at my sensibility

I could love you in seconds

if I had a stopwatch to count

instead of a stop-sign heart

that tells me to run it

and then accelerate

into the future

just me,

and my St. Christopher's medal.
