I like the rain Jacob. A odd calmness.
"it is raining so hard
I am swimming in tears
rumbles of memories
always on the edge of the storm"
The above lines, I liked. Rain make my words come alive. Maybe teardrops to awake my soul. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Reminiscing...memories tend to gang up on us at times. "The skies have no chance to find sun"....there are days the sun evades me and this line really hit me. Jacob, super metaphor and wonderful poetry! Lydi**

Thank you, Lydi...and sorry about that evasion by the sun.

Some see the storms coming and take precautions, others don't have time to react for it happens like lightening strikes.
We need the rain but who needs the pain. What brews within will flash outside.
I love it!

Wow! So true and well articulated. You are welcome sir Jacob
"rumbles of memories
always on the edge of the storm"
~ This is very beautiful to read and visualize. Memories rumble ominously and are wont to bring storms with them. Reading the poem, I felt how painful a past can be. Those flashes of lightning can sometimes be too much to endure. A crack in the sky can bleed so much.

Love that word "wont", and the word "shan't"--
Thank you, my friend,

Thunder and lightning… the Sky is sighing as the Storm is weeping … for our World… to be a Haven where Children can laugh and become Heroes… and Heroine's Heaven…. softly, Pat
