So many possibilities is what makes this one great. I have read the other reviews and each has a valid point. My toughts go a different direction Freddie Mercury in 1987 did a promotional video in a pink silk suit. Was this a reflection of his recognition of being gay and not being able to stay with the woman that he loved and had been with for some time? Reaching?

I really like this avenue of thought...thank you, Soren.
really does fit doesn't it?
A subtly written poem. It initially got me confused. It sounded like a wedding that leaves the bride shedding tears of joy. Eventually, it ends like the groom had just received a death sentence. Like he stands condemned and the executioner's axe was to about to fall. Just my impression anyway. If I'm correct, it's a poem with a double edge. It needs not be taken at face value but thoughtfully read and devoured. I like the style

you saw what you saw...and that is all a poet can ask for.
But for the concluding line, this could be a wedding to my mind. A very very emotional moment here. The verdict is damning and life changing. Fantastic feelings conveyed.
Oh, how I love this...and let me tell you the many reasons why....
Full of thought and mystery...
Pink suit more or less sums it up... great visual...Is he on trial?... a young man...
Are they in the morgue looking at someone that has just died?
The word verdict is strong... so, although this could be a wedding...I doubt it...there goes my imagination.
Or perhaps, he is at the wedding of a woman he loves and she is marrying someone else..So, alas he has lost her...the verdict is in!
I could ramble on and on...
Love, love, love this dear Jacob,

Whatever the story here, the man in the pink suit is in tears. Maybe he is anticipating what he knows the verdict will be before its actual arrival. It’s a puzzler that has me pondering J. Plays out like a tv drama.

Interesting, Chris...perhaps a tv drama that did not get renewed for a second season?

My thought go from this to that in what seems to be a metaphorical, unspoken or whispered drama. You have offered a specific or a mystery; am still trying to decide. Intriguing - as your writing often is, sir!
