dear J... so many of our friends in other Countries have been killed and terrorized... we are fortunate to even move... I am a Classic example of being Grateful that I can still function. Of course, I need a Bone density Test. We must keep moving and thinking as Poetry is our Saving Grace... along with Prayers. Amen... P.
yes it is happening; that's what we have to look forward to as we age; our bones get so brittle they actually break...so it's better to sit on the couch, write a poem or just plain daydream....they say that doing nothing is bad for your bones...MOVE is the password.
Best, B
Maybe our waking reality is only a fleeting dream in the mind of a sleeping God. I only hope to be at least a good dream and not an emotional nightmare. Cheers. F.
I was thinking about this this weekend. Every new day is one day less to accomplish everything I want to accomplish and I may not accomplish it all but I might. You never know.
Life is so cruel. Once I had no words but I had dreams. Now I found some words but the dreams have begun evaporating. Its hard to entertain the silence. I have many hardened voices emanating from me, they say they know the truth and remind me of pain. So its so difficult to be poemy and dreamy these days. I related deeply to this poem.

“Silence is the uncomfortable guest” makes me think Pulp Fiction and Uma saying comfortable silences are how you know you’ve found someone special,
or maybe you need to win a twist contest
dancing to Chuck Berry’s You Never Can Tell.

What a great flick that was...
thank you, Winston,

Strong bones when we are young can become brittle and break with age. My aunt!s brain is breaking down. I thought of her struggle to say anything meaningful these days. I talk for her. She chips in when she can. I thought of my muse. She is silent.

I hate hearing that, Chris...but I saw it with my folks...heartbreaking...

I remember my doctor asking if I had ever had a bone density test. No! How dare she ask that question. It's the same feeling you get when first receiving mail from AARP. Who do these people think they are? You have such a positive way of taking the most mundane thing and turning it into something magical. Getting older is just ... a phantom pain in the arse. :)
If one compares words to bone density maybe a lack of words forthcoming is the onset of osteoporosis in the
osteopathic assembly of writing down thoughts. Anyway it’s a reply that sounds good lol. Another clever piece J.
