Thank you, Annette...and yes, every day, better.
I see her now, a furtive glance and touch on your arm as she steals your wallet with the other hand

Bless you! I didn't know you were allergic. ;) One haiku deserves another. Flower gardening/ the art of making things grow/ a hummingbird's joy

nice one, Fabian.

The thorny bits or roses that makes a lasting impression, sometimes so much more than the visual prettiness and even the fragrance that it beguiles with. It also feels so strange to be pickpocketed with thorny digits, oh my. But that's just an unbridled imagination there.

thank you for your words, Red,

All beauty has a protection. The idea that it can not be stolen without consequences is a deep thought, botox beware. Loved it Jacob.

Yes, protection...
thank you, Soren,

Even the best things in life can end up hurting us as the thorns of a rose do. The word "pickpocket" makes me think of the way some people steal happiness. So much said in so few words, Jacob. Lydi**

Where there is beauty, there can be pain. The rose a symbol of love and romance. Tempted by the scent of delicate petals you run the risk of the thorns. Wonderful imagery here J.

dear Jacob... we learn to be Thieves when it comes to Love...
the thorns are worth the kisses. Be brave and careful when
the Roses bloom under a full Moon. softly, Pat
