4 senryu bitten by cliché

4 senryu bitten by cliché

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

4 senryu bitten by cliché

imagination
is a dead weed shriveled up
where thoughts go to die

a poem is a poem
when the words anticipate
where meanings survive

themes are imminent
in fields of creative sway
we bend with such ease

natural poet
turns ugly to beautiful
stored in memory

Dear Jacob,
Each senryu has something so unique to offer by way of thought poetry and creativity. Loved them all. You rarely write in form so this was such a treat. Thanks! Loved it!
