Secrecy

Secrecy

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Secrecy

we drove

to the cove

did things we only talk about

in Saturday confession

a communion of bodies

consumption of the host

each welcoming the other

a slight breeze

the voyeur

as we found our way

when adolescence

barely dawned

on a Sunday morning

as we knelt in the pew

eyeing each other's

fresh smiles.

Knowing the mind is thinking of that tryst in the cove and the smiles that are shared afterward. This was really nice. This felt good to read. It was happy and carefree and fun. Nice one Jacob
