pick-up gameA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
i was a
redundant excuse for love you use
vocabulary succinctly when you want to so i
knew you were the tautology to pull
my emotions so taut they
broke i
snapped pledging my alliance with
you, and then
the truce repeated
the satire and i
indifferently played
the fool because
i had nothing better to do. erin-cilberto 3/22/23 © 2023 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
