Very inspiring word in lines that do stimulate that part of any man who has come to know, of a certainty, that it is far better to live, even miserably so, with a woman, than eke out one's life to die alone ...
We can be in love with the idea of the perfect love the perfection
I tend to still live with rose coloured glasses on when it comes to love or romance i almost invent it on the days it’s not visible
I do this for self preservation
I love the theme throughout that you haven’t yet met her but love her how beautiful
Loved it Jacob
and....
there is still love in a mind
like mine I find
that keeps me
gestating
waiting
anticipating
hungry for the moment
hoping it can be found
Still there is
no sound as I look around
Still I don't even know her yet
but
I am still bursting with love
Yet, I have no regrets!
Great poems make you want to be part of them but only a few great writers have the knack to draw you in like that and it's a fact you are one of those cats....my mentor of many years is STILL here!
Almost feels as if I know her and probably do, even though I don't and probably never will but...
Funny how this just seems normal to me...kind of like, any other day because there is always that enticement, that flower, that sunny day that makes me think...it could be her and it probably is, even if it isn't. I really liked this Jacob.
Like a budding flower its sweet scenting aroma already abounds, soon nectar gathering insects will buzz by in abundance, love too abounds and has that akin attraction, the signs highlight the path to take..
dear Jacob… you speak as though you have planted a Garden in Spring with seeds of tender sweet peas that burst with pretty blossoms of romantic notions. One may reach out to you in a succulent score of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. 🎶 green peas and sunshine 🌞 gently, Pat

You're very welcome, jacob Take care, keep safe and more.
Reads like a love letter to your imaginative muse.....you know she is there, yet she has no form but is perfect in all ways and you wait and wait to see her caress you with the inspiration to write again but always with that warning sign that she may not reciprocate the love. She is a fickle beast of beauty, this muse, yet I am sure she will continue to inspire. Unless.....
A fine poem.

This for some reason brought to mind an old song of the 70s by the Cowsills, Rain, the Park, and Other Things. And I knew, (IknewIknewIknewIknewIknew) should could make me happy(happy, happy).
Wonderful rendition of being smitten, Jacob. I think I see her sitting in the rain. Raindrops falling on her.
