imagining on the coldest day

imagining on the coldest day

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

imagining on the coldest day

if a dandelion

metamorphosed into

a rose

could you tell the difference

between night and day

loves me, loves me not

and that pesky

feeling

that is pressed between the pages

of the book of poems

you refuse to peruse

when she has scattered

your heart in the wind.
