Ignition

Ignition

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Ignition

bad sedan,

free fall

wings amiss

body not

high tower

the sky flies away

death isn't proud

when the angels

hit the pavement

and the car

won't start.

MADD owns the tower now. I suppose the angels may have called the tower home.

I read this as a metaphor for dating when things go a wry and yo7 miss again but that’s just me. Lol. Merry Xmas.

Funny how they never start when you need them to and funny how we always need them to.
