What was said after all of the town folk came to his aid. "My brother, George Bailey...the richest man in town" (or something like that). We inherit the power to be kind and make friends, because good friends are the greatest wealth you can have. It's a wonderful poem! : )
We inherit a given time to celebrate a life, our life, to live within our means and although insignificant compared to the bigger picture, the universe , how lucky we are to be part of it no matter how small. Our possessions are just a by product that serves us well to be handed down to help those in the family tree and maybe remembered by. This is where the write took me.
All of these threads of life are connecting us to something richer than the material things we worship. I do not know what the reward will be but I wonder if our real inheritance is simply this earth and the opportunity to live upon it. Thought provoking words, Jacob.
We will inherit the Wind… our Spirits will Sing 🎶 like Beverly Sills and Wills will be like Willows swaying in the Breeze of passionate Whippoorwills . Amen. Pat

That unsigned deed must never be taken for granted. It could be the making and breaking of us. We must store our riches in the right places and keep the power of attorney in the sky updated. Loved your words here.
