Vow

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Vow

blind faith

invisible God

praying is kissing

the future

hoping to wed

a good place

in the beyond.

Faith and worship seem a business.
Like a hotel reservation perhaps
Pay/invest more to reserve a better place.
Not sure this is the kind of faith that will deliver the goods.
I like the way you said it here.

I really like your reply...might get to the desk and find out they gave our room away.

Gee
Perhaps that is it then, religion nowt more than a means to an end , a way of ensuring a place to stay in the afterlife, that and a crutch to get through life when it gets a wee bit tough.
Can't say I'll ever be signing up:)
Good morning Jacob
