I keep my faith which is more spiritual than ritual. Everyone is different in their journey. I take out lots of the falsehoods and stupidity that has been added and stick with the universal themes.
No blind faith for me either, sir Jacob.
You are awesome.
I have to see to believe. Not always been this way. I had my years of blind faith, sadly down the pan now. Hell is here on earth, and as for heaven, I have had a glimpse of that too, on this planet. What comes next is anyone's guess. I like surprises.

I was fortunate enough to be raised with a strong faith that believes the afterlife will be wonderful...assuming we make the right choice while living here on planet earth. And for me that means believing Jesus Christ is the Son of God and accepting Him as my Lord and Savior. I know this is a VERY religious response and should you choose to delete it I will not be offended. You will always be my friend Jacob and I adore your poetry! ~Sharon

Boom!
This explodes in the mind Jacob. Wow. You have picked a very hot coal from the soul of our culture and tossed it in to the dry weeds of our preconditioned minds.
Yet, I find myself willing to give this "kiss" and keep my "faith" even as I see how fragile and entwined with assumption my life has always been. I am sure reality has nothing to do with my expectations... it never has.
dearest Jacob… praying is kissing … is a peaceful thought that could be kept close to your 💜 Heart. Our Spirit that motivates us.. is what keeps us as Sheep in a field of Lillies. When we take our last Breath.. we will perhaps discover the Light. softly, Pat
