My mind works slow my friend, especially in the morning. Being seen invisible by love one is in or perhaps yearning for. Than with a passage of time what remains of that past moment are remnants of what once was love. Does it speak to puppy love? I've always abhorred that reference to love because there is nothing puppy about it. As Nazareth sang "love hurts". Literally. I apologize if I may have mangled the message of this piece. It was a good write none the less my friend.

never would you mangle the meaning...it means what it does to you and I am quite satisfied with that.. read morenever would you mangle the meaning...it means what it does to you and I am quite satisfied with that.
early love can be just as strong as love in later life.
that version of "Love Hurts" is fantastic.....so is the original by the Everly Brothers...both in different ways.
