snowblind friends collided

with mortality's wind

the vision of vinyl spinning

one last time, forever

genius parachutes upward

heaven's studio is wrought

with haunting sounds

an ear to a cloud

notes are damaged wings

refurbished by angels

I assume the aforementioned Holly is Buddy. I recall well that day in '59. A lot of talent erased in a small plane crash, as has been the case with so many entertainers. By an odd twist of fate, Waylon Jennings missed the flight. Go figure.
