I assume the aforementioned Holly is Buddy. I recall well that day in '59. A lot of talent erased in a small plane crash, as has been the case with so many entertainers. By an odd twist of fate, Waylon Jennings missed the flight. Go figure.

How bright their flame was before it was so cruelly snuffed out.
The day the music died. Amazing talent. All that done in 18 months if I recollect.
