a discerning disciple

relies on unseen truths

not to be illusive apparitions

Or as the sainted Paul put it, "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Yes, smart Paul...smart John.
thank you,

It’s hard to explain, but this poem is dizzying. It feels as if it swirls the thoughts in your brain and your left only with the words that stand out; this poem. This is an intense, strong piece with being shorter and I love that about it. There’s plenty of wisdom beaming through these words. Rather amazed with this one. Thank you for sharing.!

Faith and belief. We believe in things we cannot see or hold. Hard to do sometimes Jacob. Very nice use of words my friend.

You are welcome Jacob.
If we get a grasp on the truth the truth most certainly will have a firmer grasp on us. Then, far from being an illusive apparition, it becomes the driving force behind our lives.

I discipline myself on being no disciple … I hold a belief in not believing what I cannot see to
Be true… What a powerful word ‘Belief’ is….. as is your writing Jacob….

Wonderful as always,

Lathe…
