Obituary of an OxymoronA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
i am left disoriented by your whispered kisses in the ear of my catastrophic language as i free write my will in poetic stanzas i will die confusedly certain that i loved violently tender and rendered my heart to a long-ago girl as my knees melted into syrup from the brush of her lips i still haven't found my way all these years
later just write long and then longer lines of poetic compass trying to find my way away from you finally i get tired of having no direction except toward your memory. erin-cilberto 7/6/22 © 2022 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
