Well, his name may be Peter but that's not the 3-Day miracle he's talking about, although she could be a Jewish American Princess. I don't see denial; I see an internal argument, well developed.
"As Peter loved so love I, and in this fashion; with boastful promises and bursts of passion, with anxious wavering and hot denials and faith that drowns amid a sea of trials. Yet, far beyond my fitful love, I see, His love, forever reaching out to me." Anonymous I enjoyed your poem.

It's one of my favorite poems committed to memory by one of my favorite authors, Anonymous wrote such great poetry I don't know why he/she remained incognito. (laughing) I just lost a dear friend and neighbor yesterday morning so I'm smiling through my tears. He was 73.
Excellent JE-C. The Apostle Peter's denial to save his own skin - but he felt so differently after the Resurrection. Well-referenced in the context of Love.
I like the apparent informality of this piece as well.

I didn't expect a positive response to this piece...I thought it might be laughed off the board because of its apparent simplicity....but all of you really have made me aware of the deeper understanding that other poets can have into a work.
thanks again for that,
