Your word choice "sort " makes this poem quite a insightful read. A confused unique poet trying to write what he/she feels inside through the way they know how to do it best; through poetry. At least that is how I interpreted this poem. Love the word choice!
Love this
Short like a shot of a drink
No don’t drink 🚱 now
But if I did I’d try a short shot reading poetry maybe yours !
Hope you well J
Regards from me
I've known You and read You for few years now Mr. Jacob and truth these four lines reveal You, the poet of You and your truth :>. and sure we are all "this sort of a poet" too.
dearest Jacob... early Easter morning in Virginia.
Another day to sort our thoughts and "Roll away the Stone"
as depicted in Gee's Poem for Easter. Somehow the Title and the feelings have embraced my Heart where as Shakespeare would say:
"Although you have none, obtain a Virtue." Shall I stumble through the Day, or Pray for our World. Your Poetry is always Provocative, and we are "beholding". May flowers scent your Day and Bird Song stir your Heart. gently, Pat
