anonymous poems

can't hide me from myself

and the pen that has betrayed me

I cannot own up to the debt

of conscience

I am blinded by my own ink

but still hear the splash on the page

it comes from deep inside

what used to be my pride.

If you can write those moments, you can write anything. You know it doesn't matter if what your writing is about your shame, or made up shame, the reviewers will always think it is about you. I am many things in my writing that I am really not, at least that I am willing to admit...lol.
