He's doing time for lack of rhyme?
Hey, it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. The beat will always go on. Free verse is my preference, but rhyming surely has its place! A little different write from you. I liked it. Lydi**

I met poetic friends
in lower town
we tried to rhyme
but got beat down
we cried outside
prison walls
Free Verse ... Free verse
what could be worse ...
doing time without rhyme
living it up
in solitaire.
Wouldn't surprise me if the cops arrived at mine and arrested me for insulting the intelligence of the more discernable poet with the simple words I post :))
Great piece Jacob.
Hope you are well.

There was an angel headed hipster rolling down there with a pocket full of promises to pay the bail, no doubt. I saw her on the road with Kerouac. Cool as a mountain stream and smooth as quicksilver on silk, my friend.

Well, a few of them were Ginsberg's but you're welcome just the same, my friend. ;)
I'm glad it did not go all the way to the supreme court. At least wait till we confirm the new one for the bench. Funny, witty and creative sir Jacob. An the beat goes on...
