Well, Jacob I decided to read another of your poems tonight..yes, it is night time in Spain..and, once again I was on an adventure..line after line..
I have been busy finishing up my Sonnet..Hand-In-Hand ..Final version is finally submitted...So I just have not had anytime to review anyone..
Knowing I would enjoy reading what you wrote I decided to see what you submitted.... always enjoyable.

One of two great opening lines in literature ... Call me Ishmael (the second being "Marley was dead.)
I still have my copy of Moby Dick. The story itself was good, although the movie with Gregory Peck and Richard Baseheart was terrific. Funny though, I don't remember a re-make. Although The Caine Mutiny I suppose was based on the book to some extent.
I heard tell that even the moon is embarrassed to reflect in that sea of indifference now Jacob. We are fast becoming marooned on our own islands of indifference, when once we made an effort of sorts to pull together in a semblance of the same direction.
I don't know how I managed to omit Moby from my "random amount of books to read before I die. I feel an edit coming on. 😊

The concluding lines are so haunting for the spirit. Nothing and no one left....Silence, it seems like the ultimate hunter, slayer. We will all be its prey at the end of every novel. Masterful and beautiful poetry as always, my friend. It's always wonderful reading you.
