Being a pianist I can hear this on the piano and have played many times. The metaphors are beautiful, sad lyrics that I know by heart because I have sang them over and over and over and have refunded love as many times. The word brevity btw is one of my favorite words and love seeing it used. This is a gem!

I feel disc(h)ord, as thoughts flit and flicker from the unity of music, to thoughts from the personal universe of their mind and life, that has a habit of creating chaos from harmony.
